Counselors
Lisette is the clinical director of Atlanta Counseling and Coaching. She graduated from Argosy University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2009. Her specialties include working with individuals who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and severe depression. She works with individuals with these diagnoses by educating clients on symptoms and coping mechanisms as well as working with clients to identify their desired goals.
She also works with individuals who are experiencing transition in their lives and supports them by using cognitive behavioral techniques in order help clients make decisions and cope through these uncertain seasons.
Lisette primarily uses cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral approaches. More importantly, Lisette is honest and direct with her clients as she believes transparency lends to a deeper and richer therapeutic relationship.
When she's not in session, you can find Lisette spending time with her family and planning her next out-of-country trip.
